SOLAR ELECTRIC SYSTEMS - OUR HISTORY
American Solar was established in January of 2001 by Will Herndon and Sean Seitz, both degreed engineers with over 36 years of combined experience in the design, construction, and service of solar electric systems.
From the inception of the company, there has been a continuous evolution of policies from the local level, Federal Government, and to the actions of foreign governments that influence our industry and customer base. During this decade the photovoltaic (PV) industry has seen explosive growth and American Solar is no exception. We've excelled because of our focus on our core competency of providing customers with turnkey solar electric systems design, construction, and support services.
American Solar is strongly committed to Arizona. Both Will and Sean have placed great emphasis that the company continues to support the state's solar energy sector with policy development, education and public awareness, charitable donations, outreach, and professional activities.
